Sara grew up on a small farm in southern Fauquier County and has always had a passion for the outdoors and conservation. After graduating from Lynchburg College with a bachelor’s in English and environmental science, she pursued her master’s degree in public administration at Virginia Commonwealth University. Nearing graduation, Sara was lucky enough to stumble upon an internship with VOF. That internship quickly grew into a full-time position as the human resources manager. When she is not working, Sara enjoys spending her time with her two very energetic young boys, going on date nights with her husband, and tending to her garden. Being part of VOF’s growth and phenomenal conservation work has been an incredibly rewarding experience, and Sara is honored to be part of such a passionate group of people.
