Link has a degree in geography from Virginia Tech. Before coming to VOF, he worked in local government in Tennessee and for the Virginia Department of Mines, Minerals and Energy. At VOF, Link assists with new easements and stewardship in the Southwest region. He enjoys using his GIS expertise for conservation and appreciates the fact that the job at VOF gives him the opportunity to do something for his neighbors, both present and future. An avid cyclist, Link helps run a team for middle- and high-school students who race mountain bikes. He and his wife have two teenage boys who keep them busy with school band concerts, Model UN assemblies, and many pets (dogs, cat, fish, and chickens).
