Justin works with owners of VOF-protected land by conducting site visits and development reviews, assisting with the interpretation of easement terms, and providing information and connections to resources. Justin’s grandfather was a crop farmer in Southside Virginia who helped forge Justin’s early connection to the land. He completed his undergraduate work in the beautiful mountains of western North Carolina, where he studied sustainable development practices. He went on to earn a master’s in urban and environmental planning from the University of Virginia. He has worked in planning at the local government level and in nonprofit program development. He is forever interested in the smartest, most efficient way to utilize the precious resources we have. Justin enjoys live music, camping/traveling in his Casita Travel Trailer, and spending time with his family and dog, Roscoe.
