Bryn Sonnett

As part of VOF’s Piedmont Region stewardship team, Bryn works on interpreting easement language, drafting amendments that strengthen existing easement provisions and/or allow public access, and providing resources for landowners to better steward their land. Bryn has a bachelor’s in global studies with a concentration in environments and sustainability from the University of Virginia, has interned at the Smithsonian Conservation Biology Institute, and completed two internships at VOF, where she began working full time in 2017. Bryn grew up in rural Rappahannock on family property bordering Shenandoah National Park and spent many summers riding horses and rafting near Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Now she spends much of her free time hiking, biking, doing yoga, and adventuring around the country.
