We don’t presume to have all the answers so in an effort to assist you in your faith journey we offer the below list of documents and organizations that will help minister to others in ways Vineyard of Faith alone can not.

Bible Gateway

As a side note, Vineyard of Faith prefers to use the New International Version for the English translations and Reina Valera Contemporánea for the Spanish translations.


Angel Tree

"Angel Tree, a program of Prison Fellowship, reaches out to the [your local] children of inmates and their families with the love of Christ. This unique program gives your church an opportunity to share Christ’s love by helping to meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the families of prisoners."

Vineyard of Faith participates with this program and offers gifts every Christmas season.

Windsor Kids Festival

"Windsor Kids Festival is an annual event sponsored by the Christian churches of Windsor, California to express our Lord’s love by giving backpacks filled with school supplies to children in need for grades K-8. The festival also includes a day of free fun including games and food in addition to the backpacks at no expense to the participants."

Compassion International

Nebraska Lutheran Mission Society

Orphan Grain Train

Lutheran Church Extension Fund

Adventures in Odyssey

Lutheran Special Education Ministries

"LSEM was founded in 1873. For more than a century LSEM served as a residential school for children who were deaf. But when the needs changed we changed too. Our name was changed from Lutheran School For The Deaf to Lutheran Special Education Ministries in 1990. We are a Recognized Service Organization of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod. As we grow, we are now able to reach more children and provide programs and services for Lutheran churches and schools, as well as other Christian denominations."

Concordia Publishing House

"eScrip is proven to be a fantastic resource for fundraising where participating business partners contribute a percentage of your grocery loyalty cards, credit card, and debit/ATM card purchases to the school, group or organization of your choice."

Vineyard of Faith is fundraising with eScript. There is no cost to the church member needs in order for them to be signed up with eScrip. It is just a matter of filling out some paperwork so that a percentage of your purchases can be transferred to Vineyard of Faith with the plastic cards you already use.

Thrivent Financial

Sonoma County Task Force for the Homeless

"The Sonoma County Task Force for the Homeless is the countywide nonprofit coalition of service providers, advocates, religious congregations, civic organizations, businesses, and individuals working to end homelessness and to assist people who have lost their homes."

There are a lot of listings for local charities here to help people get on their way which includes food and a place to stay.

Redwood Empire Food Bank

"Since 1987, the Redwood Empire Food Bank's service has grown to meet the rising need for food assistance and expanded to focus on providing as much healthy food as possible and including nutrition education as an integral part of many of our programs. We currently assist over 78,000 Sonoma County residents every month. We provide food through our own three Hunger Relief Initiatives that focus on the unmet needs of low-income children, seniors, and working families. We also are a primary source of food for 175 community based charitable organizations that operate over 250 human service programs helping the needy, disabled and homeless in Sonoma County."

Vineyard of Faith works with this organization to bring food to serve to the community on the second Thursday of each month from 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm.

Committee on the Shelterless

"COTS does much more than shelter and feed people who are homeless. We provide a wide range of services that enable individuals and families to break the cycle of homelessness once and for all.

"We also prevent homelessness by helping people in our community keep the homes they already have."

LCMS Resources

"What About?" is a series of 27 pamphlets, written by former Synod President Rev. Dr. A.L. Barry, that address doctrinal topics, moral issues and concerns in the church to help Christians grow in their understanding of these important questions.

Lutheran Hour Ministries

Lutheran Hour Ministries is a Christian outreach ministry supporting churches worldwide. LHM produces Christian radio and TV programming for broadcast, as well as Internet and print communications, dramas, music, and outreach materials, to reach unchurched people in the United States and more than 30 other countries. LHM's flagship program, The Lutheran Hour, airs weekly on 1400 stations and the American Forces Network.

KFUO - Talk Radio

KFUO (850 AM) is the longest continually operating AM radio station in the United States. Owned and operated by The Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod (LCMS), KFUO-AM boasts an array of audio resources from worship services to inspirational music to in-depth study of God's Word through programs including "The Bible Study," "Ask the Pastor," "Studio A," and "Law & Gospel."
